The rumor about the pregnancy of Bollywood superstar Deepika has gone viral after a comment on her husband, also a Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh’s live chat that read “Hi daddie.” It’s been almost a year since Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh got married. But in a few months of their wedding, there were rumors about Deepika being pregnant. So is Deepika Padukone pregnant or it’s just a rumor?
Is Deepika Padukone Pregnant?
According to some reliable sources, the Mastani actress confirmed that she and Ranveer Singh did not plan to have children shortly, focusing on their acting instead.
“I’m not surprised (by the rumors). We’re too selfishly at this point focused on our careers and I don’t think it would be fair to have kids at this point,” she said.
“I think it’s sad that society puts itself and people in this rut,” she added, clarifying on the expectations placed on her and Ranveer to have kids as soon as possible.
It’s been nearly a year since the love birds Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh got wedded. But in a very start, just after a few months of their wedding, Deepika became a victim of the rumors about being pregnant. It did not die down despite seeing her public appearances and also there was no sign of baby bump ultimately. She was also acting continuously and moving around the world. This is not the first time, an actor has been rumored about being pregnant, and some turn out to be true while others clarify it eventually.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh married in Italy on November 2018 in a private ceremony. While, on the work front, Deepika will next be seen in Chhapaak directed by Meghna Gulzar in which she plays the role of an acid attack survivor. The film is releasing in January 2020.
