Well, this is the perfect farewell for Game of Thrones Sansa Stark i.e. Sophie Turner nominated for Emmy Awards. After that the actress is “beyond humbled” to receive her first-ever Emmy nomination for Game of Thrones in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series category. The actress will be up against her GOT co-stars, Gwendoline Christie, Lena Headey and Maisie Williams. Emmys 2019 will take place after few months, but getting in the list is like winning the first round not only for Sophie Turner but for rest of cast as well.
Besides that Game of Thrones cast set Emmys record for most nominations for its final season; standing tall at 32 nominations. On the other hand, Kit Harington and Emila Clarke will stand for Lead Actor categories. While, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Peter Dinklage, Alfie Allen, Gwendoline Christie, Lena Headey, Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams have dominated the Supporting Actor categories. Whereas, Carice van Houten also earned a nomination in the Guest Actor category.

After being nominated, The Sansa Stark shared this news to her followers. She wrote, ‘I’m beyond humbled. I truly never thought that this would ever happen. ‘This is the best farewell to the show that has been my life for the past 10 years.’
Besides that like a true Queen in the North, Turner gave due credit to her co-stars as well, even though they are competing in the same category! As, Sophie Turner was nominated in the Best Supporting Actress category for her portrayal as Sansa Stark in the Game Of Thrones, her ‘J sister’ Priyanka Chopra shared her happiness on her Instagram story. The Bollywood and Hollywood star mentioned, how very proud she is of her.
Meanwhile, Sophie is currently honeymooning with husband and fellow Jonas Brother, Joe Jonas. The couple had a second wedding ceremony in Sarrians, Southern France, on June 29, 2019.
