The actress will be seen playing lovers in Faraz Arif Ansari’s next, titled Sheer Khurma. Even earlier, Swara Bhasker and Divya Dutta are two of the most talented actresses in Bollywood. Both have portrayed different characters and proved their versatility with every performance.
While coming to the details about the movie, both actresses will be playing partners and veteran actress Surekha Sikri will also star in the romantic drama. The story of the film will follow the journey of a curious woman who is searching for a sense of belonging and acceptance from her family. Besides that Swara Bhasker never shied away from speaking her mind out. And she is supporting the LGBTQIA+ community.

On the other hand, Faraz Arif Ansari revealed, “Divya and Swara are two celebrated names in the industry and strong supporter of the LGBTQIA+ community. It was an easy decision to approach them. In fact, when I started writing the film, I had Divya in my mind.
The writer further said that the he finished the script, he put up a status on Instagram saying he need someone to play the role, and Divya was actually the first person to call me. Faraz said, “ It was kind of bizarre that both of them were thinking on the same lines. Without even reading the script, she said she wanted to do the film.”
As both the actress are supporting the community, so, it’s been easy for both the actress to act, but it might be difficult for audience to accept.
On the other hand, talking about the subject of the film, Divya Dutta said, “I have worked with him previously and I know what he has to offer. For me, this is not just a film. It’s a story about relationships – including this woman’s with her family and her partner, which is something that needs to be talked about amid all the taboo that exists in our society.
The actress is too opened up about her co-actors and how she had no reservations about taking up this role.
