In her recent interview, the actress has recalled her terrible casting couch experiences, reveals how directors wanted to see her thighs and cleavage before casting her. Earlier, she has started her showbiz career with the TV show and went on to act in a number of small-screen projects. Besides that, she also featured in Telugu, Kannada and Tamil films apart from Bollywood movies.

During the interview, the actress opened up on casting couch and said there was a time when a director wanted to see how her cleavage looked, and another one was interested in her thighs. She revealed that the actress had to face the casting couch five times in her career span, thrice in South film industry and twice in Bollywood.
Surveen Chawla Casting Couch Experience
Despite being famous already as ‘Jojo’ in Sacred Games 2, Surveen Chawla battled many criticism – from being called an ‘over exposed’ TV actress to an ‘overweight girl at 56 kilos’. But that wasn’t just it. Much to our horror, she reveals that she had to face the casting couch not once or twice but five times in her filmy career – thrice down South Films and twice here in Bollywood.
While, narrating the interesting incident, she added how she was called as someone overweight, despite being 56 kilos. She said, “I went to give this audition and the person told me, ‘You are overweight’. I was just 56 kilos and I thought the person needed glasses.”
Besides that, speaking of another incident, actress remembers, where she was called out for doing TV. Surveen Chawla said,”Yes, there was a time when people told me you are over exposed because of television. For some time, I tried to hide it from producers and tell them I did TV only for a year but I realized later that ‘Why am I doing this?’ Isn’t it going to be easier for a team to get someone who already knows how to do their lines?”
