Police have finally registered an FIR against business tycoon Malik Riaz’s daughters, his (alleged) niece and 15 other persons as Uzma Khan, a Pakistani actress and model accused them of forcibly barging into her house and beating her over an alleged extramarital affair. According to sources and videos we have seen, this is the summary of the Uzma Khan case.
Uzma Khan Case
Many viral videos of Uzma Khan are circulating over social media in which it can be seen that two women enter the actress house and abuse her for allegedly having an extramarital affair with a man named Usman Malik, who is supposed to be related to Malik Riaz. One video shows them throwing some liquid on Uzma while threatening to kill her. In another, one of the ladies orders her guards to touch Uzma to find if she would sleep with him. The ladies can be seen hurling abuses at Uzma and her sister while frightening them to have them ‘picked up by intelligence agencies’ as well.
Right after the video got viral, Uzma’s counsel Barrister Hassaan Niazi had claimed on Twitter that the police were not registering the FIR against the criminals “even though there are ample video and photo evidence of brutality and the injuries that were caused to Uzma and her sister Huma Khan”.
But late on Wednesday night, police officials declared that Defence-C Police had filed the case against Malik Riaz’s daughters Pashmina Malik and Ambar Malik, niece Amna Usman Malik and 15 unknown men for breaking into Uzma’s house, searching it and looting valuables worth Rs5 million.
In the video, the lady questions about Usman, accuses Uzma Khan, and says, “Tell me the truth, what did you do with Usman? Did you sleep with him?” The two sisters look agitated during the whole event. Uzma Khan declares that nothing happened between her and Usman and the video ends here.
Later, the actress took to social media to share her perspective of the whole incident. “This is my official statement. I request you to share my statement and standby me in my difficult times,” she said.
This is my official statement - Remember your gunmen pointed their guns towards two orphans and sexually harassed. We might be weak but now we have faith in Allah and people of Pakistan. I request you to share my statement and standby me in my difficult times. #uzmakhan pic.twitter.com/0QNgBUlTRb

“I have been shamed, blackmailed, harassed, been threatened to kill in the past three days. I feel I have nothing to lose now and I have decided to fight the strongest people of Pakistan,” Uzma wrote. “For me, it is either I get justice or I will be killed but there is no turning back now.”
“I am an orphan so you can’t kill my parents. The maximum you can do is kill me,” she added.
Malik Riaz denies his connection with Usman Malik
Malik Riaz denying all the accusations in a tweet, said, “I categorically rebut this malicious propaganda associating me with a viral video. Usman is not my nephew.”
I would also like to inform that I'll be filing defamation cases against anyone who tries to implicate me wrongfully for such disgraceful incidents. (2/2)

In another video, a woman who identifies herself as Amna Usman alleged that her husband was having an extramarital affair with Uzma Khan and that she had advised her many times not to ruin her marriage.
“I would also like to explain that my husband Usman Malik has nothing to do with Malik Riaz Hussain, he is not close kin of him. Barrister Hassaan Niazi has a personal dispute with Malik Riaz and he is using this conflict to humiliate him,” she said, claiming that Niazi had also tried to “settle the matter” for some favors.
Amna further stated that the accusation that she had barged into Uzma Khan’s house was wrong because the house was owned by her husband, Usman Malik and she has frequently warned Uzma Khan to do not ruin her 13-year-old marriage.
After watching the video, we feel pity for Uzma Khan and her sister but if this is the case of an extramarital affair, for which the actress is warned many times, then it may sound a little accurate to some people. But at last, no one is above the law and no one should take the law into one’s own hand. As earlier, we have seen one such incident when a US cop brutally killed George Floyd.
