Dermot 47, who recently embraced his first baby with wife Dee Koppang, said: “I had my locker raided while I was at an exercise class and he took my whole bag which contained my wedding ring, which I had taken off because it can get snagged and so forth, and my crucifix and my watch.”

It comes after Dermot shared the news after re-posting Metropolitan Police’s Twitter post, which requested any related information about the thief on Twitter.

The post from MPS Westminster read: “Do you recognise this man? We wish to speak to him re theft of a bag from a gym in Mortimer Street W1 on 13 Aug. Items stolen include a wedding ring etched on inner side with ‘14/9/12 Team KO’.

As Dermot, who recently opened up on fatherhood, re-shared the post, he wrote above: “Sadly this was my wedding ring & bag that was stolen.

The new dad wrote in a separate post: “I know there are more important things happening in the world right now, but last week by bag (with my wedding ring in it) was stolen from a locked locker at Psycle on Mortimer St, London.”
