Besides the marriages in Bollywood, it appears the Bollywood biopic season is on. There are too many biopics films are coming out, while some are in on sets and others are in pipe line. Another biopic is about to come and this time its Adnan Sami to play the role of Kishore Kumar in biopic? Kishore Kumar was the biggest singer and star of Bollywood and the singer has undoubtedly no match in this century. So, it will be a big surprise and huge responsibility on the shoulders of singer Adnan Sami to do justice with the role of the Legend.
Reportedly, a source shared that the singer was approached for the role after Adnan recreated versions of Kishore’s classics on a show which went viral. It is believed that Adnan will be a perfect fit for the role as he is a singer, composer and also a good actor. Sami will also lend his voice to recreate some of Kishore’s classics.
Adnan Sami to play Kishore Kumar in Biopic
Since there is no confirmation yet, but it is being reported that Adnan coming on board for the film may be announced soon. The singer-actor was approached for the part after his versions of some of Kishore’s classic songs were recreated on a show. The videos from the show reportedly went viral, and the makers thought of taking Adnan Sami for the role of Kishore Kumar.
Earlier, Anurag Basu had announced to make Kishore Kumar’s biopic with Ranbir Kapoor. But things did not materialize and now we hear someone else is making the film.
Besides that, the makers will soon make an official announcement regarding Adnan Sami playing Kishore Kumar. The makers will also release the first look of the film starring the Mujhko Bhi Toh Lift Karade singer.
