According to fans, the plot of Karan Johar’s film Kalank is said to be copied from a book titled ‘What The Body Remembers’. However, actor Varun Dhawan has denied these reports.
Karan Johar’s Film Kalank is pack with multi super stars. These include Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur. Well not the producer, director or even the writer came forward to clarify the controversy, and now people thinks that Is Karan Johar’s Film Kalank is Copy from the Book?
Varun Dhawan’s Reaction
After fans and people are claiming about the film script and names have been copies, none other than Zafar (Varun Dhawan is playing a role in Film) comes front and rejected all these rumors and fake. When Varun was asked about the plot similarities, Varun told reporters, “I have not read that book; I have no knowledge about that.
He further told, “But I don’t think the premise is the same because our actual premise has not yet opened in the promos. Yes, there is a love story but the film is a lot more than that.”
While on the copying the names of Characters of Alia Bhatt as (Roop) and Sonakshi as (Satya), he said that h don’t have any idea about the character names, it might be a coincidence. Besides that, Varun said, no one is stupid enough, if hr copied the idea, why would copied that names. They would change names, why would the names be retained?” he said at the event.
On final notes he said, that the story has been discussed earlier in a Radio show, and one people will watch the film, their perception will be changed.
