And to a surprise Scarlett Johansson is Forbes highest paid actress and she named again this year. The international actress now referred as a name of Black Widow in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Earlier, her character might have died in the early summer release Avengers: Endgame. But Scarlett Johansson rose to top the Forbes’ highest-paid actress of 2019 list.
According to reports, Scarlett Johansson earned $15.5 million more than she did in 2018. And it happened due to the massive global success of Avengers: Endgame. That film is the final chapter of the saga for which she earned $35 million. Besides that, the actress will take up the Black Widow mantle again in 2020 for an eponymous spin-off film.

She also received an impressive “back-end payment” of $35 million for Avengers: Endgame. So, Scarlett placed at top spot for the second year, with total earning of $56 million. Besides that, she was followed by Sofia Vergara with $44.1 million earnings and Big Little Lies star Reese Witherspoon with earnings of $35 million.
On the other hand, the veteran actress Nicole Kidman sits on the fourth spot with $34 million. Jennifer Aniston rounds off the top 5 highest-paid actresses of 2019 list with $28 million. The interesting thing is that the list also shows the name of newcomers Elisabeth Moss and Margot Robbie. They have warned $24 million and $23.5 million respectively.
According to the Forbes ranking of highest-paid actors in the world, Downey Jr. comes in at 3rd place with $66 million total. He is behind fellow Avenger Chris Hemsworth ($76.4 million) and Dwayne Johnson with $89.4 million. Other than them, Robert Downey Jr., Johansson’s Avengers co-star, earned about $55 million for his turn as Iron Man in Endgame.
