The most awaited movie of 2018, Thugs of Hindostan is set to be released on November 7. Amir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Amitabh Bachchan and Fatima Sheikh are not the only cast to be seen in this movie. Ronit Roy, Satyadev Kancharana and Lloyd Owen are also a part of this multi-starrer movie. The film is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and produced by Aditya Chopra.
Based on a fictional story
The movie is about a thug known as Ameer Ali, who has a gang. The fight they gave to the British Empire in India was of some substance. The story is set between 1790-1805. The plot is based on Philip Meadows Taylor’s 1839 novel “Confessions of a Thug.”

Amir Khan, the perfectionist of Bollywood, is going to be seen as the leading actor in the movie. He is known for his brilliant acting in so many movies like 3 Idiots, Ghajini, Qayamat se Qayamat tak, and many more. For the first time in their career, Amitabh Bachchan and Amir Khan are going to be seen on the same screen. Arguably, he is one of the most loved actors of all time. He is known for his acting in Don, Shahenshah, Piku, etc. He is going to be playing the role of Khudabaksh.
Katrina Kaif will be seen as Surraiya, and her first look has already been out. She all set to mesmerize her fans with her looks and that flawless body. Fatima Sheikh known for her role in Dangal will be seen as Zafira which is an entirely different role to what she played previously. She is looking fierce and stunning in her first appearance. This movie is said to be the most ambitious project of Yash Raj Films till date. Undoubtedly, the movie is going to be big. The budget of the movie is over 150crores. There are scenes in the movie which the fans wouldn’t have seen ever before. It took over 1000 people and several crores to design two huge ships for the movie. This ship was built in Malta where it took over a year to finish it. As the movie is a period film, it has to be made with authenticity.
