Akhtar was one of the first cricketers to wish Amitabh Bachchan a quick recovery after it was declared that the Bollywood legend had tested positive for coronavirus. While the Pakistan legend is being praised for his gesture, one of the users seemed to be bothered and questioned Akhtar. He uttered some disgraceful words for Akhtar’s country. He wrote:

Keeping his cool, and maintaining a specific level of dignity, Akhtar replied to the Twitter user in a heartwarming way. “Sunnay wali upar walay ki zaat hai. Kya pata kis ki sun lay bhai Aap k label kernay se koi label ho nahi jata. God bless you,” he wrote.
