It been more than 3 decades when s slim, careless boy enters the Bollywood and now he is superstar and he is Salman Khan. The 26th of August marked Salman Khan debut in Bollywood and thus he proudly completed 31 memorable years in the B-town. Salman has always been the much loved actor, irrespective of his controversial personal life and shall continue to be the one. Salman’s first film, ‘Biwi Ho To Aisi’ starring Rekha and Farooq Sheikh ‘released in August 1998. The interesting fact is that his voice from the film was dubbed by another artist.
His onscreen name Prem was so much celebrated that this onscreen name, has played in his 15 films and remained etched in the hearts of his fans. He continued to give some massive hits like ‘Hum Aapke Hai Koun…! ‘Saajan’ and then there was no looking back for the actor.
Salman Khan 31 years in Bollywood
On completing the 31 years, actor has shared a heartfelt note for all his fans and his childhood photo. The tweet says, “A bigg thank u to the Indian film industry n to every 1 who has been a part of this 31 year journey specially all my fans and well wishers who have made this amazing journey possible.” Along with that, Salman has also added a childhood picture of himself.
On the professional front, Salman has currently three movies lined up – Dabangg 3, Inshallah and Kick 2. He will be reprising his role as Chulbul Pandey in Dabangg 3 which has been directed by Prabhu Deva. Salman Khan will be collaborating with Alia Bhatt for the first time in the upcoming movie Inshallah.
In addition to his acting career, Salman is a film producer, a television presenter and promotes humanitarian causes through his charity, Being Human Foundation. The actor has hosted many reality shows like 10 Ka Dum and Bigg Boss.
