As like every year, a competition was help to choose the most beautiful women of the universe. This year Miss Universe annual function held in Bangkok, Thailand. And surprisingly Miss Philippines Catriona Gray was crowned the winner of the 2018 Miss Universe show. On the other hand, Miss South Africa Tamaryn Green is the first runner-up and Miss Venezuela Sthefany Gutierrez is the second runner-up.
During the fashion essentials of the show, Gray dazzled in the evening gown competition and sizzled during the swimsuit competition. But it takes more than looking to take home the crown. Besides that Catriona Gray answered some tough questions. These questions include her thoughts on legalized marijuana. She said, “I’m for it being used in a medical use but not so for recreational use because I think if people argue about what about alcohol and cigarettes, then everything is good in moderation”.

Well, the 24-year-old Catriona Gray is the fourth miss Philippine, who won the Miss Universe title. She was considered to be the best among 93 other candidates from all over the world. Before the run for the title, she has been advocating for HIV/AIDS awareness, and education, particularly for poor youth.
Newly Miss Universe Catriona Gray was borned in Cairns, Australia. Her father is an Australian, while mother belongs to Philippines. She moved to the Philippines in her late teens. Where, she worked most of the time as a model, appearing in various commercials and magazines, before entering this world. Before becoming Miss Universe 2018, Catriona Gray also reigned as Miss World Philippines 2016, and competed in the Miss World pageant, finishing in the Top 5.
