Brad Pitt relates the infamous Manson Family Murders, which took place in 1969, to the Harvey Weinstein scandal. While, this comparison is drawn in terms of how they rattled and changed the course of Hollywood. It was in October 2017 when a high-profile actress in Hollywood speaking out against Hollywood mogul, Harvey Weinstein. Harvey was accused of sexual misconduct and rape by multiple women.

Brad Pitt said, “It all sort of crashed, and ended so much that some talk of it as a conspiracy. It was the total end of an era, immediately. When Brad was asked if anything had rattled Hollywood to a similar extent, Pitt shared, “Harvey Weinstein.” He further added, added, “Is that bad taste? It’s more that I think we’re getting recalibrated. But [this time] in a good way.”
On the other hand, More than 80 women have come forward and accused Weinstein of a slew of charge. It includes harassment in some form or sexual assault. The list of accusers includes Cate Blanchett, Kate Beckinsale, Cara Delevingne , Rose McGowan, and many more.
In 1969, the Manson murders took place on 8-9 August that year, when four members of the Manson family invaded the rented home of director Roman Polanski and his wife, actor Sharon Tate, who was eight and a half months pregnant.
