Working more than 100 films and career over 25 years in film industry, Suniel Shetty finally reveals that this industry is very dangerous. Besides that, he has time off for the last four years, will be debuting in Kannada film ‘Pehlwaan’. Recently, in his latest interview, the veteran actor said that film industry is vey cruel and if you don’t pace with it, you left behind. The hero of films once, now tunred older and said that one should do film according to her age.
During the interview, when he was asked about taking the time off, he said,“I don’t know why I took this sabbatical. I think it was because my dad was paralyzed and unwell. I used to feel a little flustered so I took a break.” He also remembers how he was written off in his debut film ‘Balwaan’. While the film managed to earn decent numbers, the actor was completely written off as ‘wooden’.

Suniel Shetty reaches the age, where he can speak his heart out. Regardless of having a successful career at the box-office, the actor still feels the insecurity. The actor further said, “You see young kids perfect in their craft. So you have to know whether you are hamming or not. There is a very thin line between hamming and acting.
He further said, “You may feel like you are living in that era but then, you will look like a fool. I’d rather not act than look like a fool. Understanding all this does take a lot of time,” explains the actor revealing how he started watching the monitor during the shoot of this film.
On the other hand he said that earlier he would never watch the monitor. He said that he would only check if he is over-acting or not. Besides that the costumes helped me as 70 per cent of the job was done when he put on the clothes.
While speaking of his children the actor said, “I have a good relationship with my daughter and my son Ahan. I talk to them more about failures as I know they will be able to handle success well. This industry is very dangerous.”
