It’s been five years since Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra worked together in a film ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’. Now both are again coming to make you laugh, with the acting, romance and dances. This time Sidharth Malhotr and Parineeti Chopra are reuniting on the big screen for director Prashant Singh’s ‘Jabariya Jodi’. Set in Uttar Pradesh, the quirky comedy is based on the unique concept of Pakadwah Shaadi and groom kidnapping prevalent in the heartland India.
The storyline revolves around the instances of ‘Pakadwa Shaad’i which is highly prevalent in the state of Bihar. Suitable grooms are kidnapped by the brides’ families and forced into marriage, to avoid paying dowry. At the trailer launch of the film Jabariya Jodi, the cast spoke about the unique concept of the movie and also shared their experience of working on the project.
