Known for his comic roles, Javed Jaffrey is making his comeback in a supernatural thriller movie Lupt. Vijay Raaz, Meenakshi Dixit, Karan Aanand, Niki Walia and Rishabh Chadda are also going to be seen in this movie. The film is set to get released on 5th October 2018.

Javed Jaffrey is not only known for his comic one-liners but also as a choreographer, actor, VJ, ad filmmaker, singer and has put on so many different roles in his career. Known for his role in Dhaamal, Bang Bang, Singh are King and many others. But this time around, he will be playing an introvert, a serious businessman whose ambitions has no limits.
Based on a true story
This movie is being described as a horrific, frightening and based on real events. In the trailer, Javed Jaffrey is seen as a businessman suffering from chronic Insomnia. He starts seeing shadows and ghosts. And soon his family also begins to look at these things. Troubled Javed Jaffrey seeks help from a counselor played by Vijay Raaz. Vijay Raaz also has a very significant role in this movie. The trailer creates an ambiance of suspense.
Featuring “Bhoot hun main.”
Urmila Matondkar’s scary song “Bhoot hun main” from one of the best horror movies of Bollywood, “Bhoot” starring Ajay Devgn is said to have been recreated in the movie too. In this version, Natasha Stankovic will be seen dancing on this number. Shabina Khan who choreographed the original song will be the choreographer for the remake too. She expects that the audience will love this recreation as much as they did the last one. It was her debut song as a choreographer. Beating her turning point is a huge challenge for her.

Also known for his comedy movies, Vijay Raaz is going to be playing the role of a Psychiatrist in this supernatural thriller. He is majorly seen in films like Binn Bulaye Baarati, Dishoom, Dhamal, etc.
Meenakshi Dixit is seen as a possessed soul in the poster of Lupt with a deep cut on her forehead and eyes without a pupil. Playing Javed Jaffrey’s wife Niki Walia is seen in many Bollywood movies and Television serials as well. Rishabh Chadda known for his role in Drishyam, Delhi belly, and Desi Boyz is also going to be seen as Javed Jaffrey’s son along with Karan Aanand.
