The Pirates of the Caribbean is a fantasy swashbuckler film series produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. It is partially based on Walt Disney’s eponymous theme park ride. While its 6th installment, Pirates of the Caribbean 6 is expected to hit the cinemas soon. Here are all the details you would want to know about its next installment.

The series surely has been renovated for a 6th chapter. Pirates of the Caribbean first debuted the Hollywood industry on July 9, 2003, with Pirates of Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. Later on July 7, 2006, the franchise released its 2nd part Pirates of Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest. Then the following year on May 25, 2007, with its 3rd part, Pirates of Caribbean: At World’s End. Pirates of Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and Pirates of Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales were released on May 20, 2011, and May 26, 2017, respectively.
Soon ere the release of On Stranger Tides, it was announced that Disney was planning to shoot the fifth and the sixth installments back-to-back. Eventually only the 5th part was finished.
Even though the renovation for the sixth chapter was announced in 2017 no more statements have been provided by the franchise yet. In October of the same year, Kaya Scodelario said that she signed a contract to return for a sixth film. Soon after, it was confirmed that Rønning will direct the next installment.
The sixth part which will be directed by Joachim Ronning, who is also the director of Pirates of Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, and will be produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. Johnny Depp will be resurrecting his character as our favorite Captain Jack Sparrow, for the sixth chapter of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.
Although it was supposed to be released this year according to Disney the film may release its sixth chapter in mid-2021. New writers Jeff Nathans on and Terry Rossio are working on the script of the film and intend to change the leading role to a female character. This definitely has left fans in more curiosity.
It’s been almost 3 long years since the last part ‘Pirates of Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales’ was released in 2017, fans are extremely eager for the upcoming part and so are we.
