Irrfan Khan, who was undergoing treatment for rare kind of cancer, will no do films for a one more year. On the other hand, reports suggest that he may also not be part of the sequel to his hit film Hindi Medium. Hindi Medium 2 producer Dinesh Vijan has been quoted as saying by the portal, “Right now, everything is speculation. Irrfan had just come back to town. It’s the script that is ready. Hopefully, in another one month, we’ll have clarity.
Irrfan Khan is back in India after undergoing treatment for neuroendocrine tumour in London. The 52-year-old actor revealed last year in March that he was suffering from the strange disease, which took him away from the Screen.
Irrfan Khan Will Not Do Films
A close friend of Irrfan Khan claimed that he will not return to work for a year. The actor is getting better slowly. He won’t be returning to his profession for a while now. According to him, the process of improvement and recovering is slow and lengthy. It will take time. Well it is not that easy for him.
Irrfans’s close ally further said that, even after full recovery he won’t be allowed to get back to work for at least a year. So there is no question of doing Hindi Medium 2 or any other film in the near future.
Earlier, when they announced the sequel, it was clear that director Saket Chaudhary, who directed the first the first film, would not be connected with the sequel. And Pakistani actress Saba Qamar, will too have no role offered for the second part of Hindi Medium 2.
Dinesh Vijan, who produced the film with Bhushan Kumar, inked a multiple project film deal with him early last year and will once again produce the film with T-Series.
