Well after the Indian Supreme Court judgment on Gay rights. The gay sex becomes legal in India and many Bollywood stars and actors rejoice over that decision. It will take time for the big stars in India’s celebrity world to come out. Still, handfuls already have and they’ve been celebrating the court ruling on social media.
Well after that decision, many actors feel ashamed of being called as gay, but there are some, who were quite jubilant on such decision. Among them Bollywood director producer Karan Johar, Abhishek Bachhan, Arjun Rampal and others listed as the Gays of Bollywood Film Industries. Though there are many but you have to Wait for the time.
Who are They?
Karan Johar
He is been vocal of all, he himself self confirmed gay. He kept this secret for years facing the shame and taunts of society. But few years back with his money power growing and certain sections of society not focusing too much on gay issue he got the courage and brought these details in his book. The government of India changed i in 2014 and couple of years later in US in 2016. Now as the world falls back to normalcy he did best what he could do by adopting two children and stopping his gay antics. But in September 2018, after the Supreme Court decision, he certainly will make his world. May be a better than other normal human beings.
Arjun Rampal
Arjun Rampal is among as well, with little more talent and skills, still is part of big Bollywood films, Why? The answer is known in Bollywood and now somewhat to world, is that he is a gay. It says in Bollywood, any why does a happily married Khan would do this.
Abhishek Bachhan
Well the Abhishek Bachhan, do you know why legendary Mr Bachhan remains quiet on this subject. Do you know why Abhishek mostly work on roles? Simply, because it is his natural instinct. Now a gay/lesbian can produce a child it is just their sexual preference which is looked down by society.
Sushant Divgikar
Indian Model, TV host and performer Sushant Divgikar won Mr. Gay World India. He is currently a national director of the organization. In 2014, he also took part in India’s most popular reality TV show Bigg Boss 8. Divgikar once tweeted that Thanks to the Honorable Supreme Court! I’m so so happy and proud! All these years of fighting for our rights to be equal citizens! He is also much opened about his gay relation and very vocal about the relation.
Apurva Asrani
Award-winning filmmaker, editor and writer Apurva Asrani, who is known working on successful films like Satya (1998), Shahid (2013) and CityLights (2014), is one of few openly gay men in Indian cinema. Following the repeal of Section 377, Asrani told The Indian Express that he felt “vindicated” by the Supreme Court’s decision. He was over joyed with it and said that, “There is much healing that needs to happen within the gay community. Hopefully, it can begin now. He is of opinion that society must accept the fact and people and media artist should accept this reality and come forward.
