Ayushmann Khurrana on Regressive Roles! I’ll Never Do

Ayushmann Khurrana gets a lot of fame and reason behind is that he has out of box roles. For 35 year old actor, his fame comes out of roles that nobody do. In his recent interview, Ayushmann Khurrana on regressive roles said that he will not do such roles to regret. He always goes for the roles that have social message in it. He further says that he will never do something regressive.

The recent ‘Dream Girl’ movie actor said, “Being part of progressive cinema, I will never do something regressive… even in a conventional film like ‘Dream Girl’, which has the essence of nineties. The way the songs are placed in the film is also like the nineties.”

While, talking about his current film, Ayushmann said, “There is a perfect place for each song, which is lip sync. It all goes out seamlessly, with the dialogues and stuff like that. It still gives a message in the end. So, I will never do something that is regressive and outdated as far as message is concerned.”

From Vicky Donor, Andhadhun, Badhaai Ho to Article 15 and others, Ayushmann’s choice of films showed that the actor believes in doing a variety of roles to prove his flexibility as an actor.

On the other hand, speaking about Dream Girl, Ayushmann Khurrana plays the role of a call center employee where he talks to people in a female voice named Pooja. While Nushrat plays his love interest, fans also love their chemistry.

Besides them, the film is directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa. Dream Girl, a romantic comedy, also features Nushrat Bharucha, Abhishek Banerjee, Nidhi Bisht, and Manjot Singh.
