After the film beats all time highest earned film Avatar, ‘Avengers: Endgame’ has set the record. Earlier, James Cameron’s ‘Avatar’ dominated box office for 10 years. The mega blockbuster crossed USD 2.7892 billion at the global box office and will exceed the USD 500,000 in ticket sales needed to surpass ‘Avatar’s’ USD 2.7897 billion.
Avengers: Endgame’ has officially surpassed the sci-fi epic to become the biggest movie in the history. This all became possible due to the re-release of ‘ Avengers: Endgame’ with six minutes of bonus footage and that was the boost required to get the fans back to the theaters. The film has earned $853 million at the domestic box office and $ 1.9 billion globally.
