Sets in London, during 1862, two geniuses come head to head. Amazon Prime presents ‘The Aeronauts’ is about Pilot Amelia Wren and scientist James Glaisher survival. Both find themselves in an epic fight for survival while attempting to make discoveries in a hot air balloon.
Adventurous balloon pilot Amelia Wren (Felicity Jones) teams up with pioneering meteorologist James Glaisher (Eddie Redmayne) to advance human knowledge of the weather. And they plan to fly higher than anyone else in history. Besides the other challenges, they face physical and emotional challenges in the thin air, as the ascent becomes a fight for survival. The film will be set to play in theaters on December 6th and available on Prime Video December 20th.
