Well, the sensational and trend setter movie series Matrix was the biggest hit in the Bollywood. And this movie gave Keanu Reeves the heights of popularity. According to the details, Matrix 4 is officially happening. Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss will reprise their roles as Neo and Trinity. While, Lana Wachowski has been handed the directorial duties. Earlier, the previous three films, The Matrix (1999), The Matrix: Reloaded (2003), and The Matrix: Revolutions (2003) have grossed over $1.6 billion in total.
On the other hand, Matrix co-creator Lana Wachowski will be writing and directing for Warner Bros. well, there are no official dates and schedule is confirmed but it is happening. In a recent statement, Warner Bros. Picture Group chairman Toby Emmerich confirmed the biggest news for Keanu Fans. He revealed, “We could not be more excited to be re-entering ‘The Matrix’ with Lana. Lana is a true visionary, a singular and original creative filmmaker and we are thrilled that she is writing, directing and producing this new chapter in ‘The Matrix’ universe.”

While writing and directing, Lana Wachowski said, “Many of the ideas Lilly and I explored 20 years ago about our reality are even more relevant now.” She said, “I’m very happy to have these characters back in my life and grateful for another chance to work with my brilliant friends.”
Besides that, Aleksandar Hemon and David Mitchell have joined Wachowski in writing the script. The international outlet reports that the filming could start in the first half of 2020.
