Salman Khan’s Dabangg 3 or Ranbir Kapoor’s Brahmastra

Earlier there were clashes of date between two superstar’s movies, Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor. Now is it evident that Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt’s Brahmastra is postponed till 2020. Prior to its release date on Christmas 2019, now the new date has not been confirmed rather director only announced summer 2020 year. Well the director Ayan Mukerji announced the postponed date of film Brahmastra on the Instagram.

When, Where and How?

The director took to Instagram to share that the Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer will release in summer 2020. Earlier, the film was supposed to release in December 2019. In fact, recently there had been reports suggesting that the movie’s release will clash with Salman Khan’s cop action film Dabangg 3. However, the letter shared by Ayan has cleared the doubts on the subject.

Ranbir Kapoor’s Brahmastra

In a letter addressed to fans, the Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji expressed his feelings. He said that they’d make up for the delay by delivering a movie that the ‘country can really love and feel proud of’.

Well in his letter, the director shares reasons for the delay, Ayan wrote in a letter addressed to ‘whomever it may concern at this point, people from our film industry and movie lovers who follow film news’, that ‘Brahmastra will now be released in 2020, and would not be ready in time for the originally announced December release.

The director further wrote, “Brahmastra for me is a dream that began in 2011 and I’ve been actively pursuing it since Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani released in 2013. That dream is about creating a movie that offers our country something that’s really new and amazing and next level…in terms of story, character and emotions but also in terms of visual and visual effects.”

Ayan said that the Christmas 2019 was the date that was announced earlier. But he said that tin last few weeks he came to know that teams working on the movie, lead by my VFX teams need more time in order to get the VFX right. Not only that, there is more time to get the sound and music right for the film.
