Well it has been some time when we heard the story about sexual harassment allegation ob director Rajkumar Hirani. As the allegations hit Rajkuma, the co star of Sanjay Dutt in Munna Bhai Arshad Wasrsi was the first actor to call those allegations hilarious. He along other personalities in the Bollywood defended him but there was no Sanjay Dutt. After a while he comes with his opinion about the director. Finally Sanjay Dutt defends Rajkumar Hirani on the allegations.
When and Where
The director has been accused of sexual harassment by a woman ‘assistant’. She alleged that Hirani sexually abused her more than once between March and September 2018 while working on Sanju, which Vidhu Vinod Chopra co-produced. After that, she had detailed her allegations in an email, dated November 3, 2018, to Chopra. After that Rajkumar released a statement saying he was “shocked” when the claims were brought to his notice two months ago and categorically denied the allegations.
Finally Sanjay Dutt defends Rajkumar Hirani
Recently Sanjay Dutt said in his statement that, the allegations on Rajkumar does not make sense to him. He said that he don’t in those sexual harassment allegations. He said, “I don’t believe in those allegations against Raju, firstly. I have worked with him in so many films that means so many years. And I don’t know why that lady is putting these allegations because it doesn’t make sense to anyone of us.
In an interview Sajay Dutt said further that there should be an FIR about it. He said, if you have some allegations then file an FIR do something like that. But, Raju Hirani with that kind of allegations, I don’t think.”
On asking a question about Munna bhai 3, he said that we all were ready and now it seems that Rajkumar and Vinod Chopra is waiting for the best time to do it.
On the other hand, his lawyer Anand Desai termed the allegations “false, mischievous, scandalous, motivated and defamatory.”
