Now it’s time for Mahesh Bhatt 1982 Bollywood classic film ‘Arth’ remake. And interestingly, Emraan Hashmi is to play the male lead opposite Jacqueline & Swara Bhasker in the film. Earlier, there has been quite a buzz about Jacqueline Fernandez and Swara Bhaskar. Who are stepping into the shoes of Smita Patil and Shabana Azmi in Bhatt’s directorial remake!
Besides that, the makers have approached the Emraan Hashmi for the lead role. And the remake will be directed by south Indian actor and film-maker Revathi. On the other hand, news revealed, “Emraan has been approached to play one of the male leads, possibly ‘Kulbhushan Kharbanda’s role.
Arth Remake
While, talking about the film, the actor is pretty excited about the part, given that the original was sensitively and carefully looked over by Bhatt himself.
According to source, Emraan’s closeness with the Bhatt family is well known and Emraan obviously seems to be an obvious choice for the role.” On the other hand, Swara plays the role of a deserted wife who takes the road to self-discovery after her husband leaves her. The movie is said to go on floors by December this year or early next year. Although, there is no official confirmation is received. Well, it is not the first remake; earlier Pakistani film actor ‘Shan’ acted and produced the Pakistani version of ‘Arth’.
