Recently, Kalki Koechlin opens up about her struggle in the Bollywood. The famous actress form hit film Dev.D seems to be bit depress. On the other hand, she is also very outspoken and feels to fear to express her emotions. In her recent interview she revealed that may be divorce from the famous Bollywood director appears to be a hurdle for getting new roles in the films.
The talented Kalki Koechlin recently spoke about her life; she said “I had an amazing childhood. For the most part, I was never aware that I was ‘white’. I didn’t feel like an outsider until much later. As I grew up, I noticed the difference. When I was a teenager, my friends & I would go on trips to the beach & people would approach me to buy drugs. I also had a nagging fear that I was being hit on because people thought I didn’t follow Indian customs.”

Among the one of the marriages that ended on a sad note in Bollywood was of Bollywood actress, Kalki Koechlin, and director, Anurag Kashya. Before the divorce, The 32-year-old actress has been on a professional climb with unorthodox roles in different genres and speaking her heart out on sensitive issues with her spoken word poetry. Kalki is a living example of a strong lady who never feared from rumors and living life on her own terms.
Remembering about the years went by and the moment when she got her first film, Kalki went on to say, “As the years went by I realized I wanted to be an actor & went abroad to study. To sustain myself, I worked as a waitress & taught in schools while trying to juggle plays. Being given the hit film Dev.D with her first film, she was not given films for quite a long time; she has done 4 films in 2011.
On post divorce era, she shared, that her struggles dint end, after the separation there are rumors to deal with. She said that every time she stepped out with man, media tend to follow them and asked time about dating questions. The actress said, “Journalists would ask how my life was post-divorce, how was I handling my career & balancing it? Even concerned neighbors would ask my parents such questions. But I chose to ignore it.”
