Dwayne Johnson aka “The Rock,” once again succeeded to win the title of the world’s highest-paid actor for the second year in a row. Between June 2019 and June 2020, Johnson bagged up $87.5 million, earning $23.5 million alone from his starring performance in the upcoming Netflix film “Red Notice,” according to Forbes.

This is not the end, it’s just a beginning. Johnson has won commercial breakthrough with his Under Armour clothing line, Project Rock. Though, this is a small drop from 2019, during which Johnson took home $89.4 million from starring in “Jumanji: The Next Level,” among other projects. Johnson first topped the list in 2016, with earnings equaling $64.5 million.
Just after Johnson is his “Red Notice” co-star Ryan Reynolds with $71.5 million. Reynolds was paid $20 million for the movie, in addition to another $20 million from Netflix for “Six Underground.” A third Netflix flick starring Reynolds is also under production, bringing another massive paycheck.
Another Netflix favorite, Mark Wahlberg, succeeded to stand third with $58 million. Ben Affleck follows with $55 million in profits from his appearance to the big screen in “The Way Back” and “The Last Thing He Wanted.”
Vin Diesel succeeded to mark his name at number 5, who managed to make $54 million despite the release date of “Fast and Furious 9” being pushed back.
