Well, it’s been a month since Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh got married in Italy’s Lake Como. And after that they have hosted multiple wedding receptions in India but people’s fascination with the nuptials is far from over. Recently, Deepika Padukone, in a new interview, has answered all questions around her wedding. One of the most important, of course, being why did her ex Ranbir Kapoor didn’t attend the wedding reception.

Deepika and Ranveer’s wedding reception had all the Bollywood stars with family. But conspicuous by their absence were Ranbir as well as girlfriend Alia Bhatt. The actress told in an interview, “We’ve not spoken. I mean, we spoke before the reception but we have not spoken after. But, that’s him. I’m not surprised at all.” In her reply to the question, she further said, “But, that’s the relationship we share and that’s the beauty of that relationship; so much is said without saying much at all.”
According to the sources, Ranbir was busy shooting for an all-night schedule of Brahmastra that same day. And t seems that, that Alia Bhatt did not attended the reception because Deepika was ex of her current rumored boyfriend. Despite all, that didn’t stop people from questioning. Did he deliberately avoid being a part of Deepika’s wedding bash?
While taking by surprise, the girl who cheated by Ranbir on Deepika was Katrina Kaif, and it was surprise, when she attended the Wedding Reception. In fact, she was one of the first few celebs to have congratulated the couple. Both Katrina and Deepika were known to share cold vibes with each other, but the latter was overwhelmed when she saw Katrina attending her bash.
Deepika Padukone said on Katrina, “A lot of water has flown under the bridge. For me, just the fact that she came and was very present was gracious (of her). I’ve always been fond of her. You know, just the way that she’s been over the years, and with her work and I have a lot of respect for that. I made my peace with her.”
