The mysterious suicide of the Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput in June this year moved the film industry. However, even after the actor’s suicide, at least three other Indian actors also took the same extreme step to end their lives. Now, another Indian actress committed suicide after being harassed.
Indian Actress Committed Suicide
Telugu television actress Kondapalli Sravani allegedly committed suicide at her residence in Hyderabad, the police announced on Wednesday. The 26-year-old actress was found hanging at her home on Tuesday.
The family members said she went to her bedroom and closed the door. They believed she was taking a shower but when she did not come out for a long, they broke the door open and saw her hanging. They rushed her to a hospital where the doctors declared her dead.
The police shifted the dead body for post-mortem and started the investigation. While the family claimed that she resorted to the ultimate step due to harassment by her ex-boyfriend Devaraj Reddy, the police told the family had warned her for moving around with him even after filing a police case against him a few months ago.
Devaraj and the actress came to know each other through Tik-Tok a few months ago. The friendship between the two turned into love. According to the actress’s brother, the boyfriend had demanded money from the actress; otherwise, he had threatened to leak her wicked videos.
Yet, he allegedly continued to harass her even after receiving Rs1 lac. The actress took the extreme step after the severe mental depression and torture.
