Alia and Salam are making a debut in their upcoming film ‘Inshallah’ directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Last month Sanjay Leela Bhansali announced that his next project titled Inshallah will star Salman Khan, in the lead. Salman too had taken to his Twitter account to reveal that he is set to reunite with his Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam director after 20 years for Inshallah. But the age difference seems to be criticized by the fans.
Alia Bhatt is 27 and Salman Khan 53, the double age gap and romance in film becomes the talk of the town. Fans and people around the world are trolling both for their romantic film, which is produced by Salman Khan. Other social media users and Twitter users flooded the social networking site with throwback pictures of Salman, Alia and Sanjay. A fan shared a throwback picture of Salman and Alia and captioned it, “Who would’ve thought they will work together as a lead pair. #Inshallah.”

After the announcement, both Alia Bhatt and Salman Khan are facing the fiercest criticism by the fans. While Salman Khan seems to ignore the trolls but Alia Bhatt responded.
Actress Alia Bhatt said, “I didn’t get any criticism. I think I got a lot of excitement. I think speculation is also a form of excitement in a way and why shouldn’t there be speculation. There should be and at least I am not bothered by that and I don’t think Salman or Bhansali sir are bothered.”
She said, I think this is a filmmaker who has given us very good films, he is someone who we all are very fond of and I think we should just trust him with his vision.”
On the other hand, there are many fans who loved the news and looking forward to see the pair romancing in the film. Many have said that age shouldn’t be a barrier when it comes to art and performances.
