Earlier, there has been a settlement agreement between the controversial Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein and the accuser. Miramax production owner has been accused and found guilty for sexual harassment. Recently, U.S singer-songwriter Madonna has opened up about her working relationship with film producer Harvey Weinstein. In a profile on the singer, Madonna shared that the movie mogul “crossed lines and boundaries” with her and was “incredibly sexually flirtatious and forward.”
Back in the 90s, Weinstein’s Miramax Company distributed Madonna’s documentary titled Madonna: Truth or Dare. Madonna also told that he had acted similarly with other women in the business. “We were all, ‘Harvey gets to do that because he’s got so much power and he’s so successful and his movies do so well.” The singer said that besides that with success at the Miramax everybody wants to work with him, so you have to put up with it.’ So that was it.

During the interview Madonna said, “Harvey crossed lines and boundaries and was incredibly sexually flirtatious and forward with me when we were working together. She revealed, he was married at the time, and I certainly wasn’t interested,” Madonna also stated that she knew that Weinstein acted that way with other women in the film business too.
The pop iconic singer said, “I was aware that he did the same with a lot of other women that I knew in the business. And we were all, ‘Harvey gets to do that because he’s got so much power and he’s so successful and his movies do so well and everybody wants to work with him, so you have to put up with it.’ So that was it,” she added.
On the other hand, Weinstein has denied these latest allegations, saying that Madonna had mischaracterized their relationship. Before that, he reached a settlement last month with some of the women who have accused him of sexual misconduct; the settlement is said to be worth about US$44 million (S$60 million). He has denied all charges of non-consensual sex. More than 70 women have come forward with allegations since the case broke in 2017.
